One of Korea's biggest hits of 2009, the lighthearted SBS drama Shining Inheritance (a.k.a. Brilliant Legacy) has attracted over 30% viewership ratings with its Cinderella tale of sweet feuding romance. Starlet Han Hyo Ju (Iljimae) plays the young and spunky Eun Sung, who goes from riches to rags after her father passes away. She never gets the chance to see her father for the last time and even loses her autistic brother - all because of her stepmother's treachery and the unwitting meddling of rich and arrogant Woo Hwan, played by popular singer Lee Seung Gi (Famous Princesses). Touched by Eun Sung's kind heart and hard-working nature, Woo Hwan's grandmother not only decides to take her in, she also names Eun Sung her heir! Shining Inheritance also co-stars Bae Soo Bin (Jumong) as Eun Sung's suitor and Moon Chae Won (Painter of the Wind) as Eun Sung's stepsister.
